We are not an official site, nor are we endorsed by either Lewis Hamilton, his team Vodafone McLaren Mercedes or Formula One. We are however, huge Lewis Hamilton and Formula One fanatics and we built this site to show our appreciation and support for Lewis and the sport of Formula One Grand Prix racing. About Lewis Hamilton:

Born 1985 in Stevenage, Hamilton began racing karts at eight at Rye House in Hoddeston, using black plates as a novice racer does for his first six races - he was spotted immediately, challenging the fastest kids on the track.Two years later at an awards ceremony he told Mclaren Boss Ron Dennis that one day he would be driving for the Mclaren team. Ron told him to come back in 9 years time. At only 13 Hamilton signed up for the McLaren and Mercedes-Benz Young Driver support programme, the youngest driver ever to be contracted to an F1 team.

The support included being trained on the latest computer simulations, exposing him to every twist and turn of the world’s circuits. Monitored by neuroscientists Hamilton was afforded the best in sports science. Hamilton became European karting champion in 2000 with the maximum points achievable.

At Kerpen, Lewis had the privillage of racing Michael Schumacher in the final round of the Formula Super A Karting World Championship. Schumacher took the trouble to praise Hamilton in the next issue of Motorsport News.

The following year Hamilton made an easy transition to racing cars, zooming through the junior formulae gaining titles in Formula Renault, Formula 3 and GP2. He was appointed as a Formula 1 Driver for Mclaren in 2007.

Since, he has become the firts rookie driver to lead the world championship, finishing on the podium in his first eight races and winning twice by the mid point of the season.
